Monday Night Pro Football: New Orleans vs Las Vegas Odds, Trends

Who says you can’t have fun in Sin City on a Monday night?

The Raiders make their Las Vegas debut, as they host the Saints in the final Week 2 game. The Raiders are currently 4.5-point home underdogs (+175 moneyline) at William Hill after reaching as high as +6 earlier in the day. The total for this Monday Night Football showdown now sits at 48.5.

“There’s a ton of parlays, teasers and moneyline action on the Saints,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “We’ll need a victory outright from the Raiders.”

For all moneyline bets on MNF at William Hill, the Saints have brought in 58% of the total number of tickets and 57% of the total dollars wagered.

Regarding the spread, however, William Hill bettors are more split. New Orleans has the advantage in total number of tickets on all spread wagers for tonight at 66%, however Las Vegas has the slight edge in total dollars wagered at 52%.

That includes the three biggest bets taken at William Hill thus far for MNF, which have all come in on Raiders against the spread. The largest is a $30,000 wager placed by a Nevada bettor on Raiders +7 (-135) for a total potential payout of $52,222.20. Raiders +6 (-110) also drew $22,000 and $20,000 wagers by Nevada bettors.

The total has gone as high as 51.5 before dropping to its current 48.5 number. Nonetheless, the majority William Hill bettors are expecting points in bunches tonight, as the over has received 80% of the total number of tickets and 61% of the total dollars wagered.
