The first of two UFC Fight Island cards this week is tonight, with 11 bouts slated for UFC Fight Night: Kattar vs. Ige.
In the headliner match, No. 6-ranked Calvin Kattar faces off against No. 10-ranked Dan Ige in a featherweight showdown.
Kattar was priced as high as -310 this week at William Hill, and he currently resides at -290. William Hill bettors, however, appear to be split on who will win this fight.
Ige (+245) has the slight edge in total number of tickets, as he’s received 52% of them in his first-ever main event fight.
Kattar does have the advantage in another category, though, as he has drawn 65% of the total dollars wagered. That includes a Nevada bettor who put down a $9,378.55 wager on Kattar at -300 for a total potential payout of $12,504.75.
Two other favorites lead the card in total number of tickets and total dollars wagered.
After being listed as low as a -110 pick’em vs. Talia Santos, Molly McCann is now -140. She’s also first in total number of tickets at 76% and ranks third in total dollars wagered at 86%.
Meanwhile, the biggest favorite on the card also is tops in total dollars wagered. Jack Shore opened as -600 chalk against Aaron Phillips, and has risen to -750. Shore has captured 99% of the total dollars wagered as well as 62% of the total number of tickets.
Two of those Shore wagers are also the biggest ones taken at William Hill thus far. One Nevada bettor placed $35,000 on Shore -700 for a potential $40,000 total payout, while another Nevada bettor has $30,000 on Shore -650 for a potential total payout of $35,000 total.
One underdog who has been a trendy wager is Andreas Michailidis vs. Modestas Bukauskas. Michailidis has shifted from +225 to his current +150 price, and has attracted 83% of the total dollars wagered and 51% of the total number of tickets.
