This past weekend, Collin Morikawa won the first major of 2020 after taking home the PGA Championship. But the PGA Tour rolls on, as this week’s competition is the Wyndham Championship in Greensboro, North Carolina.
William Hill has posted futures odds for 98 golfers plus the field (all others) to win this event.
J.T. Poston edged out Webb Simpson by one stroke to capture the 2019 Wyndham Championship. Simpson is currently the 9/1 favorite at William Hill this time around, with Brooks Koepka right behind at 11/1. Meanwhile, Poston is listed at 55/1.
Patrick Reed is next behind Simpson and Koepka at 16/1, followed by Tommy Fleetwood at 17/1 along with Paul Casey and the field (all others) at 18/1 each.
Several of William Hill’s notable early wagers for the Wyndham Championship, however, have come in on long shots.
One New Jersey bettor put down $300 on Ryan Moore at 55/1 for a total potential payout of $16,800, the largest potential payout thus far for the Wyndham Championship at William Hill. After being priced as high as 60/1, Moore is now tied for the ninth-lowest odds at 30/1.
A Nevada bettor laid $300 on Jordan Spieth 40/1 for a potential total payout of $12,300, while another New Jersey bettor placed $250 on Corey Conners 60/1 for a potential total payout of $15,250. Spieth and Conners currently have 35/1 and 45/1 respective odds.
William Hill also has 20 head-to-head tournament matchups available, including Simpson (-150) vs. Koepka (+130) and Reed (-125) vs. Fleetwood (+105).
