Workday Charity Open Odds: Thomas, Cantlay Co-Favorites

The PGA Tour will be conducting a rare doubleheader, as it will have consecutive tournaments at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Columbus, Ohio. This is the first time the PGA Tour will use the same course in back-to-back weeks since 1957.

The first-ever Workday Charity Open starts this Thursday, followed by the Memorial Tournament next week.

William Hill has futures odds up for 99 golfers plus the field (all others) for the Workday Charity Open, and it features a strong group of names atop the betting board.

Justin Thomas opened as the 10/1 favorite, however he is now sharing the top spot with Patrick Cantlay. Cantlay originally was listed at 15/1, which was tied for the second-lowest odds with Jon Rahm, Hideki Matsuyama and Brooks Koepka.

Koepka currently has the third-lowest odds at 12/1, while Rahm and Matsuyama have been stationary at 15/1.

Cantlay has emerged victorious at Muirfield Village Golf Club recently, as he won the 2019 Memorial Tournament. He’s also drawn the biggest wager at William Hill thus far for the Workday Charity Open, as a Nevada bettor placed $600 on Cantlay 15/1 for a total potential payout of $9,600.

The Workday Charity Open bet with the largest potential payout as of now at William Hill, however, isn’t on a singular golfer. Another Nevada bettor put down $500 on the field (all others) at 20/1 for a total potential payout of $10,500.

William Hill also has 20 head-to-head tournament matchups available for the Workday Charity Open, including Thomas (-135) vs. Cantlay (+115) and Koepka (-105) vs. Rahm (-115).

Check out the 40 golfers with the lowest odds at William Hill for the Workday Charity Open as well as some of the head-to-head tournament matchups below, which are all available to bet in Nevada, New Jersey and Iowa.
