Will there be a new World Series champion tonight, or will we get an epic Game 7 tomorrow?

The Dodgers will aim to win it all for the first time since 1988 in Game 6 against the Rays at 8:08 p.m. ET/5:08 p.m. PT.

“We’re about even on the World Series so far,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “In that miracle finish in Game 4, we actually wanted the Dodgers by 1 that game because we had a ton of Tampa Bay on the moneyline and a ton of Dodgers on the run line. So if it would’ve been Dodgers by 1 like it was heading into that final inning, it would’ve been perfect. That ended up as a six-figure swing.”

Los Angeles is now a -131 favorite over Tampa Bay (+121) at William Hill for tonight’s battle after opening at -138. The total currently sits at 8, with the over favored at -120 and the under at even-money odds. Blake Snell takes the mound for the Rays, and will go up against Dodgers starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin.

“Tonight’s line has dropped a little, which isn’t surprising,” Bogdanovich said. “You’ve got basically Tampa’s ace going up against the Dodgers’ No. 3 or so. People are really betting the over though. Last game went under, but there’s been a good amount of scoring and home runs in this series.”

William Hill bettors are split on who will take Game 6. The Rays are bringing in 62% of the total number of tickets, while the Dodgers are receiving 54% of the total dollars wagered.

A Nevada bettor placed $29,200 on Dodgers -136 for a total potential payout of $50,670.60, which is the largest one as of now at William Hill for this contest. The Rays, though, have drawn two separate $10,000 wagers at +126 for total potential payouts of $22,600 each.

The over has been the most lopsided bet thus far, as 81% of the total number of tickets and 86% of the total dollars wagered are on over 8 runs.
