Pro Baseball 2020 Home Run Leader Odds Released: Trout, Alonso, Judge at the Top

With MLB’s scheduled Opening Day on the horizon, William Hill has just released its first updated MLB player prop market in Nevada.

The MLB home run leader for the regular season odds are now up, with 75 players on the board. All teams must play a minimum of 58 regular season games this upcoming campaign for action, meaning all bets will be refunded if any team plays in 57 or fewer contests.

Additionally, if there’s a tie atop the HR leaderboard, payout odds will be divided by the number of players who are tied.

Angels outfielder Mike Trout has opened as the favorite at 12/1, with Mets first baseman Pete Alonso right behind at 13/1. Alonso was the MLB home run king last season with 53, while Trout has never led the league in that department.

One New Jersey bettor thinks Alonso can do it again this time around, as they placed a $500 bet on Alonso 12/1 for a potential $6,500 payout.

Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge is next at 14/1, followed by Reds third baseman Eugenio Suarez next at 15/1. Fellow Bronx Bomber and 2017 HR leader Giancarlo Stanton is at 16/1 along with Dodgers outfielder and 2019 National League MVP Cody Bellinger.

A few other sluggers further down the board are 2014 home run leader Nelson Cruz (30/1), 2019 American League HR leader Jorge Soler (40/1) and 2018 home run king Khris Davis (50/1).

Bellinger’s new teammate, Mookie Betts, is tied with 19 other players at 80/1 odds, including Astros infielders Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa.

Check out the 30 players with the lowest odds for William Hill’s regular season home run leader market, which is available to bet in Nevada. This market is also available in New Jersey.
