After partaking in seven eNASCAR iRacing competitions over the past several weeks, the best drivers in the world are ready to get back behind the wheel… for real.
The 2020 NASCAR season returns this weekend, as a 400-mile Cup Series race takes place on Sunday, May 17 at Darlington Raceway in South Carolina. This is the first of three races at Darlington Raceway (two Cup Series, one Xfinity Series), with the latter two scheduled for next week.
This is the fifth race this season, with Kevin Harvick (164) just one point ahead of Joey Logano (163) for first place in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series standings. Harvick has finished in the top 10 in all four faces, while Logano has captured the checkered flag twice. Chase Elliott (third place at 144 points) has led for 186 laps, the most of any driver.
Kyle Busch is currently the 5/1 favorite at William Hill for the Darlington 400, even though he’s tied for the 11th-most points in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series standings.
Harvick is tied for the second-lowest odds (13/2) for Sunday’s race along with Denny Hamlin. Martin Truex Jr. and Logano round out the top five atop the board at 15/2 odds apiece.
Besides offering odds for 40 drivers to win the Darlington 400, William Hill also has nine different head-to-head matchup props available. Such matchups include who will finish first: Kyle Busch (-135) vs. Kevin Harvick (+115) along with Denny Hamlin (-125) vs. Martin Truex Jr. (+105).
