William Hill US Announces Sports Book Partnerships with Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf and Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo

Sports betting company looking to fill more than 50 local positions in The Hawkeye State

LAS VEGAS (July 16, 2019) – William Hill US, America’s leading sports betting company, and Eldorado Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ: ERI) will partner to open two newly constructed sports books in Iowa at Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf and Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo. Both resorts, owned by nationally recognized Eldorado Resorts, are action-packed destinations for gamblers and guests looking for live entertainment, restaurants, and more.

William Hill will serve as the official sports book operator when sports betting launches in the state, which is expected to take place in August pending regulatory approvals. Bettors at both locations will have access to William Hill’s mobile app, kiosks, and InPlay wagering menu.

Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf, located on the Iowa-Illinois border in the “Quad Cities” region, will be the “place to be” for fans from both states to enjoy sporting events year-round. With the casino only three hours west of Chicago, the William Hill Sports Book will become the perfect spot for guests looking to escape the city for a weekend. The sports book will feature 12 55-inch odds boards for easy viewing from anywhere on the casino floor as well as eight 65-inch viewing monitors and a mix of high-top and standard tables which will provide guests with comfortable places to watch the games and events with friends.

Isle Casino Hotel Waterloo is located an hour and a half from Iowa City and two hours from Des Moines, a prime location for those looking to take a day trip to catch the action. The William Hill Sports Book will feature eight 65-inch odds boards, 15 55-inch viewing screens totaling more than 46 feet of viewing monitors and both standard tables and high-top tables creating an optimal viewing experience for fans to gather to watch their favorite teams.

NOTWITHSTANDING ANYTHING TO THE CONTRARY IN THIS AGREEMENT, WILLIAM HILL MAY TERMINATE THIS AGREEMENT WITH OR WITHOUT NOTICE IF ILLINOIS EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-41 EXPIRES, IS TERMINATED, ENDED OR WITHDRAWN, OR HELD INVALID.  

Executive Order 2020-41 states in pertinent part that “During the duration of the Gubernatorial Disaster Proclamations, the provisions in the Sports Wagering Act, 230 ILCS 45/25-30(f), 25-35(f), and 25-40(i) requiring in-person creation of a sports wagering account at a facility authorized pursuant to the Act in order to participate in sports wagering offered over the internet or through a mobile application, are suspended.”
