William Hill unveils its first U.S. television commercial

William Hill has debuted its first television commercial since officially arriving in the United States this summer.

The 30-second spot promotes William Hill’s two football contests for the upcoming season, which will pay out a combined $600,000 in total prize money. The $500,000 Pro Pick ’em contest costs $25 per entry, with a limit of 25 entries per person, and involves picking just winners each week – no point spreads. The $100,000 College Pick ’em contest costs $100 to enter, and also allows for up to 25 entries per participant. The college contest involves picking seven games against the spread each week from a menu of 20-30 designated games.

The two contests will combine to award $29,000 in weekly prizes throughout the season. Sign-ups can be made at any point during the season in order to be eligible for weekly prizes, while sign-ups must be made by next weekend – Sept. 8 for college, Sept. 9 for pro – to be eligible for season prizes.

Sign-ups for the two contests can be made at 76 locations throughout the state of Nevada.
