Several future professional basketball stars will hear their names called this Friday, as the 2020 WNBA draft is upon us. While the New York Liberty taking Sabrina Ionescu with the top pick is a seemingly foregone conclusion, there is plenty of intrigue for how the remainder of the first round will go.
William Hill has released nine new WNBA draft props in New Jersey, including which players will be selected with the second, third and fourth picks.
Satou Sabally, Ionescu’s former teammate at Oregon, is the -160 favorite to go second to the Dallas Wings. Right behind Sabally is Baylor’s Lauren Cox at 6/5 odds.
Cox is -150 chalk to go third to the Indiana Fever, followed by Sabally at +130 and Texas A&M’s Chennedy Carter at 6/1. UConn’s Megan Walker and South Carolina’s Tyasha Harris are each 25/1 longshots.
Besides being able to bet on who will be taken where, William Hill also has six different player draft position props.
Walker leads the way with her draft position odds being set at 5.5, with Harris next at 6.5. Four players’ draft position odds have been set at 8.5: Baylor’s Te’a Cooper, UConn’s Crystal Dangerfield, Oregon’s Ruthy Hebard and Miami Florida’s Beatrice Mompremier.
