UFC is hosting one last card in Las Vegas before heading to Fight Island, as UFC Fight Night: Poirier vs. Hooker features another loaded slate on Saturday night from UFC Apex.
The headliner fight is between two top-5 ranked lightweights in Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker. Poirier is also listed at No. 11 in UFC’s pound-for-pound top rank.
Poirier is currently -210 chalk in this showdown at William Hill, whereas Hooker is +180. Additionally, over 2.5 rounds is favored at -120 with the under at EVEN odds.
Poirier was a former UFC Interim Lightweight Champion and has compiled a 25-6 career record. He’s won four of his past five fights, with the lone loss coming to Khabib Nurmagomedov in Sept. 2019 in a lightweight title unification bout.
Hooker, meanwhile, enters this weekend on a three-match winning streak, and has posted a 20-8 record of his own.
The co-main event has the biggest favorite on the card, as Mike Perry (-300) takes on Mickey Gall (+250). The two welterweight fighters have different methods to victory, as 11 of Perry’s 13 wins have been via TKO/KO while five of Gall’s six triumphs have come via submission.
