UFC Fight Night: Latest Odds and Trends for Poirier-Hooker, More

UFC is ending June on a high note, as UFC Apex in Las Vegas is hosting another thrilling Saturday night card before UFC moves on to Fight Island.

The headlining bout for this weekend’s UFC Fight Night is No. 3-ranked lightweight Dustin Poirier going up against No. 5-ranked lightweight Dan Hooker. After opening at -175, Poirier is currently a -215 favorite at William Hill while Hooker is +185.

William Hill bettors, however, have been divided on the main event.

The underdog has the advantage in total number of tickets, as Hooker has received 57% in that department. Poirier, however, has attracted 66% of the total dollars wagered for the fight.

The biggest underdog moneyline wager taken at William Hill thus far is on Hooker, though. A Nevada bettor placed $1,500 on Hooker back when he was priced at +175 for a potential total payout of $4,125.

Another underdog has gotten the highest percentage of total number of tickets on the entire card. Mickey Gall is listed at +265 in the co-main event against Mike Perry (-325), yet has generated 72% of the total number of tickets. On the other hand, Perry has the slight edge in total dollars wagered at 51%.

Maurice Greene (-210) leads the way in the total dollars wagered for Saturday’s UFC Fight Night. Greene has gotten 90% of the total dollars wagered against Gian Villante (+180). That includes the biggest bet taken at William Hill thus far for this event, as another Nevada bettor put down $23,000 on Greene -230 for total potential payout of $33,000.
