UFC 253 Odds: All 11 Bouts Up, Including Adesanya-Costa

Two of the best middleweight fighters in the world will square off for the title belt on Saturday night, as current champion Israel Adesanya faces No. 2-ranked Paulo Costa at UFC 253 from Fight Island.

Adesanya is a -170 favorite at William Hill in the UFC 253 headliner, with Costa priced at +150. Additionally, over 2.5 rounds is favored at -140 with the under at +120.

William Hill currently has odds up for all 11 UFC 253 fights.

“When UFC had the stage by itself, the handle was fantastic,” said Nick Bogdanovich, Director of Trading for William Hill US. “Now that it’s been back with other sports, it’s been good but not dominant like it was earlier. This is a big-time fight, possibly a fight of the year type of deal. The handle on this card should be extra special I’d say.”

Adesanya and Costa both enter Saturday without suffering a loss in their UFC careers. Adesanya brings a perfect 19-0 record to the octagon, while Costa has had the upper hand in all 13 of his fights.

William Hill bettors are split on this monster matchup. Costa has the edge with 53% of the total number of tickets to emerge victorious this weekend, while the majority of the total dollars wagered is on Adesanya at 60%.

That includes the largest bet taken at William Hill thus far for UFC 253, as one Nevada bettor placed $17,000 on Adesanya -170 for a total potential payout of $27,000.

UFC 253’s co-main event is also a title fight. No. 1-ranked Dominick Reyes (12-1) will square off against No. 3-ranked Jan Blachowicz (26-8) for the vacant light heavyweight belt.

After opening at -250, Reyes is now -275 chalk over Blachowicz (+235). Over 2.5 rounds is favored at -125 for that fight, with the under at +105.

William Hill bettors are divided on this showdown as well. Blachowicz has generated 67% of the total number of tickets, yet Reyes has brought in 70% of the total dollars wagered.
