TBT 2020: Odds Posted for All 24 Teams to Win Tournament

Basketball is coming back soon in the U.S., and not just the NBA later this month. In fact, one of the most exciting tournaments in sports is returning this week.

The Basketball Tournament, or TBT, features several teams in a single-elimination tournament vying for over $1 million. In the 2020 edition, 24 teams that were picked from an open-application period will be competing for the prize. The games mostly consist of NCAA basketball rules, besides a few modifications such as 9-minute quarters and six fouls per player.

Several big names will be showcased in this year’s TBT, including Joe Johnson, Aaron Craft and Isaiah Austin.

Craft headlined last year’s winning team, Carmen’s Crew, which is made up of Ohio State alumni. Before that, Overseas Elite was a four-time defending champion from 2015-18 while Notre Dame Fighting Alumni was the inaugural victor in 2014.

William Hill has odds up for all 24 teams to win this tournament, with Overseas Elite serving as the 8/5 (+160) favorite. Carmen’s Crew is next at 5/2 (+250) followed by Golden Eagles (Marquette alumni) at 9/2 (+450).

Other notable teams include Boeheim’s Army at 7/1, The Money Team (linked with Floyd Mayweather) at 14/1 and Team CP3 at 60/1. The biggest longshot is Sideline Cancer at 125/1 odds to win it all.

Check out William Hill’s odds below for TBT 2020, which is available to bet in Nevada and New Jersey. All of the games will be broadcast on ESPN, starting Saturday, July 4 at 3 p.m. ET/12 p.m. PT.
