We’re midway through August in this unique MLB season, and a few teams have established themselves as the frontrunners to win the 2020 Fall Classic.
In the American League, the Yankees, Twins and Athletics are the current division leaders, with Oakland currently sporting the best record in baseball at 16-6.
Over in the National League, the surprising Marlins, Cubs and Dodgers are atop the three divisions.
Since our MLB World Series futures update on August 7, the Yankees, Dodgers and Twins have stayed put at their respective prices of +300, +325 and +900. A few teams have seen their odds noticeably improve since then, though, including the Athletics (15/1 to 11/1), Rays (25/1 to 18/1) and Rockies (30/1 to 22/1).
Moving onto today’s slate, William Hill currently has odds up for 12 games, including a couple division leaders facing their biggest rivals.

In the first game at 5:15 p.m. ET/2:15 p.m. PT, the Cubs are -170 on the moneyline and the Cardinals are at +155.
