MLB Updated Divisional Futures Released: Dodgers Biggest Favorites

MLB’s scheduled Opening Day is quickly approaching, and William Hill has released another futures market for the league.

Divisional odds are up for all 30 teams, with the Dodgers opening as the biggest favorite to win any division. Los Angeles is -650 to win the National League West in 2020, which would mark the eighth straight year it has accomplished the feat.

The Yankees are the second-biggest favorite, as they are -300 to win the American League East. The Astros and Twins are also favored to win their respective divisions at William Hill. Houston is -150 to emerge from the AL West, while the Twins are -140 to capture the AL Central.

The two divisions with the tightest odds are the NL East and NL Central, as each has four teams with 4/1 odds or lower to come out on top.

The Braves lead a tightly packed NL East at 2/1, with the defending World Series champion Nationals next at +240. The Mets (+280) and Phillies (4/1) are lurking close behind.

Over in the NL Central, the Reds at +220 just edge out the Cubs and Cardinals at +240 apiece as the division favorite. The Brewers are also nearby at 4/1.

On the other end of the spectrum, five teams have 100/1 odds or higher to finish in first place in their division this season. None are as big a longshot, though, as the Orioles, who are priced at +250 to win the AL East.

Check out William Hill’s 2020 MLB divisional futures below, which are available to bet in Nevada, New Jersey and Iowa. Division futures are action as long as MLB designates an official division winner, regardless of the number of games played and no matter what date the 2020 season is completed.
