Mike Trout, Dodgers Outfielders Headline 2020 MLB MVP Odds

Mike Trout already has three American League MVPs among his many accolades, and he is the betting favorite to add another one to his collection this season.

The Los Angeles Angels’ superstar outfielder is currently +250 in William Hill’s 2020 AL MVP odds. New York Yankees right fielder Aaron Judge and Houston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman are next at +850 each. The Angels’ big offseason acquisition, third baseman Anthony Rendon, is at 15/1, tied with Gleyber Torres and Francisco Lindor near the top of the board.

Astros second baseman and 2017 AL MVP Jose Altuve is further down at 30/1, the same price as infielders Marcus Semien, Xander Bogaerts, Rafael Devers and DJ LeMahieu.

Over in the National League, the past two MVP winners, Cody Bellinger and Christian Yelich, sit atop the board at 7/1 apiece to take home the hardware for a second time. Bellinger’s new teammate and fellow Los Angeles Dodgers star outfielder Mookie Betts is right behind them at 8/1. Betts won the AL MVP back in 2018 with the Boston Red Sox.

A couple of third-year outfielders—the Atlanta Braves’ Ronald Acuna Jr. and the Washington Nationals’ Juan Soto—round out the top five in the NL at 9/1 and 10/1 odds respectively.

Below are all the players listed on William Hill Nevada’s 2020 MVP odds.
