Nearly a month after Bundesliga’s return, another one of the top soccer leagues in the world is back on the pitch.
La Liga, the top division in Spain, kicks back off with a match between Sevilla FC and Real Betis today at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT. Sevilla FC is in third place and is -115 at William Hill to win, with Real Betis’s ML at +300 and draw at +275.
The two teams ahead of Sevilla FC are among the best out there and are neck-and-neck in the standings. Barcelona is currently edging out Real Madrid by two points with 11 games left, which should set up for a thrilling stretch run.
Barcelona is headlined by Lionel Messi, who leads La Liga in both goals (19) and assists (12). Striker Luis Suarez is tied for third with 11 goals, and will be back in the lineup after undergoing right knee surgery in January.
Real Madrid has an enviable collection of talent as well, including Karim Benzema, Gareth Bale, Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
Real Madrid is the biggest favorite at William Hill for this week’s action, as it is priced at -450 against Eibar. Barcelona, meanwhile, is -350 chalk against Mallorca.
