Dinos ace Chang-mo Koo continues to dominate on the mound, as he allowed just one run in seven innings and struck out nine Hanwha Eagles in his start last week. Koo leads KBO in ERA (0.82) and also ranks second in strikeouts (61).
LG Twins (25-16)
The Twins went five games without Roberto Ramos, who is tied for the KBO lead in home runs. LG still went 4-1 in that stretch, helped by left fielder Hyun-soo Kim who is fourth in the league in hits at 58.
Doosan Bears (25-16)
The Bears swept the weekend series against the Twins, and are now tied for second with them in the standings. In the three games, Doosan scored 29 runs. Left fielder Hae-sung Kuk led the charge, going 7-for-13 (.538 batting average) in the series with a homer and six RBIs.
Kiwoom Heroes (25-17)
Heroes right fielder Jung-hoo Lee went 11-for-22 at the dish this past week, including four doubles and a home run. Lee is now third in KBO in both batting average (.381) and hits (61).
Kia Tigers (23-18)
Former MLB outfielder Preston Tucker has been one of the top hitters in his second KBO season, as he leads the league in RBIs (40) and is fourth in home runs (11).
