Lions starting pitcher David Buchanan picked up the victory after not allowing any runs in seven frames. Buchanan is now tied for first in KBO with eight wins.
SK Wyverns (19-41) 12, Doosan Bears (34-25) 7
Four different Wyverns batters collected multi-hit games, which was highlighted by third baseman Jeong Choi’s 2-for-3 effort including a home run. His solo shot in the eighth inning was his 12th of the season.
Kiwoom Heroes (36-25) 5, NC Dinos (39-18-1) 1
The Heroes were powered by two solo big flies. Shortstop Ha-seong Kim hit his 14th homer of the season in the third inning, followed by right fielder Jung-hoo Lee launching his 10th of the year in the fifth.
KT Wiz (30-29) 7, Hanwha Eagles (16-44) 2
